Designed by and completed in 2000, this elevated structural timber framed building sits on a natural rock shelf adjacent to Tamarama beach.
The vehicle access was tight and tricky, the tides controlled deliveries, the public were watching ever move, yet the 91ÐÓ°É project team was proactive in technical, logistical, interface and programme solving problems encountered in an old, poorly maintained building.
The team developed systems to ensure a high level of quality and regular recording of completed works to ensure value for money and the reduced long-term maintenance of the building.
On the same small stretch of beach is the Tamarama Kiosk & Services Building
